Greetings to all of you! Thank you for taking the time to visit and read my blog. I would like to start out by explaining where the title of this post has come from. With anything we do in life it requires Determination to achieve the success that we are striving for. It also takes significant mind sets such as; Dedication,Hard Work, Compassion, Staying Focused, Attitude (Never Give Up, Take It To The Limit, Reach For The Stars, and much more), in order to succeed and maintain the overall mind set that has driven us to take it to the limit and achieve the success that we are working so very hard for to attain. As individuals we have control over our minds, that is if we set our minds to achieve a specific goal, with these mind sets, and the will power it takes, then we will be able to make it possible! This reminds me of one of my favorite quotes ,



 Moving forward,  I am going to be focusing on an NBA star, LeBron James, who I believe has these minds sets and also has portrayed the will that will power can make the impossible things possible.  LeBron James has obviously been driven by these mind sets to achieve the success of becoming an NBA Star....receiving MVP awards...and becoming known during his career as "King James."

 I am sure LeBron James has been through the "thrill of victories" and the "agony of defeats". However, it is the drive of the mind that keeps us going, along with the "Never Give Up" attitude. We all know that each and every one of us have our good and our bad days. The best thing that we can do on the bad days is to discover what is it that is making it bad and do whatever we can to make it better. Therefore, in relating this to LeBron James as a professional star athlete, I also relate this to any of us as individuals in regards to our own "Health & Fitness". I know we all have busy schedules and the feeling of "there is not enough time in a day",  working full time jobs,  making time for our families,  house cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, yard work, and the list goes on. This is where a lot of people fall into the mind set of "I don't have time to exercise." Referring back to our mind sets, this is where we need to tell ourselves that we need to "make the time" for our exercise routines. You are the only one in charge of your health and fitness. What I want you to do is to set up a schedule for yourself to include your workout plan at least 3-4 days a week to begin with. Once you set up a schedule to include your workout plan in it, with each day it will become more routine and you will begin to wonder why you have put it off this long and not made the time for this in the past. I will guarantee you with exercising, you are going to have more energy during the days, you will also feel happier,  and overall better about yourself!

A Little About LeBron James:

I am not sure if all of you follow the NBA or are familiar with LeBron James,so I will provide you with some statistics and a short biography. He is an idol of mine and I give him, along with all athletes, credit for all the hard work they put in to achieving their success through the desire of dedication and determination.

LeBron James was born on December 30,1984. Height: 6'8"; Weight: 250#; Years Pro: 8; Position: Forward; NBA Team: Miami Heat. LeBron James has appeared in 627 regular season games with 626 starts in his eight-year career. He has averaged 27.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 1.72 steals and 40.1 minutes while shooting 47.9 percent from the floor, 32.9 percent from three-point range and 74.4 percent from the foul line. He has only missed a total of 18 games during his career, which were due to injury, 10 games as a healthy scratch and one game as a DNP-CD.  He has earned All-NBA First Team honors, All-Star MVP honors, and has twice earned All-NBA Second Team honors. LeBron James has hosted off season bike rides for charity and has also been known to ride his own custom bike to work. He even rode his bike to some games, which created a talking point of course. He scored 22 points that game, so obviously the pedal-power did not stop him.

Determination:

 Determination is the refusal to let anything prevent you from doing what you have decided to doIt is to act by oneself without outside influence. Determination can move mountains! A person that is determined can do what they like and it is the power of the will that he/or she can have their way in everything. As we know, will power can turn impossible things into possible. With will power and continuous concentration, YOU can concentrate on and achieve YOUR objective. So with that in mind, when creating your schedule to include your exercise routine, remember that if you have the will power to remain dedicated to this new schedule then you can achieve your fitness goals that you have set for yourself. As the saying goes, "where there is a will, there is a way." So NEVER give up!
